Earth Dynamics Climate Modeling, Inc. (EDCMI) is a private, independent, non-profit corporation dedicated to integrating the science on climate change. Our ultimate goal is a multivariate model of earth dynamics contributing to global warming, or cooling, as the case may be. To complete this mission, EDCMI must:
- Accept the cooperation of interested scientists worldwide.
- Enlist a Chief of Research (COR) for each major variable of the model, namely:
- Undersea heat sources
- Solar activity/cosmic rays/greenhouse gases/water vapor
- Changes in the tilt of the earth toward the sun.
- Revisions to this list as necessary.
- Collect research reports from each COR in a web-based database.
- Identify needs for additional research and estimate costs and time to complete.
- Identify needs for additional data, e.g., locations and thermal output of undersea volcanoes and heat vents, and estimate costs and time to complete.
- Determine upward vertical current velocity at points near undersea thermal outputs.
- Publish a status report annually on the web.
- Accept donations online from corporate web site.
- Solicit grants or contracts, or both, to complete such projects as undersea volcano mapping, sensor installation, and monitoring systems.
- Encourage creation of a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) to focus not only on the total-effects, multivariate climate model, but also to expedite R&D of the whole earth to predict catastrophic events, such as the next megavolcano, and to R&D mitigation of the effects of such events.
- Build, test, and exercise the climate model for the benefit of all mankind
